Hello Josephine, How are you doing? Thank you for your feedback after receiving and using the Ferflex products. The magnetic power of colored boards is weaker than that of black boards. However, the magnets we offer on our website are suitable for all Ferflex magnetic boards. Please note that the lightning magnets are decorative and are not made to hold a sheet of paper on colored surfaces. On blackboards it is possible to magnetize photos with these magnets.
